OVERVIEW
The purpose of our services is to provide assistance to individuals experiencing difficulties associated with their use of alcohol and/or other drugs of abuse; including difficulties arising from the use of prescription medications. We are also able to provide help for family members and friends concerned with someone's abuse. The Substance abuse Treatment Program at Guidance Associates are licensed by the Department of Health, Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensing.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT AS A LINK IN THE CONTINUUM OF CARE
Whenever necessary, the staff at Guidance Associates are available to evaluate and assist individuals to find the appropriate level of care (traditional outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient services). In order to accomplish this we utilize the Society of Addictions Medicine. However, our experience dictates that many people are successful with the type of services provided through the traditional level of outpatient care. In cases where inpatient or intensive outpatient care is necessary, our treatment programs may be an appropriate follow-up.
